Insurances Accepted

Hamilton Eye Institute Surgery Center accepts most types of insurance. Preliminary insurance information will be obtained from your physician’s office at the time your procedure is scheduled. A surgery center staff member may contact you to discuss your insurance coverage prior to surgery. Payment of your coinsurance payment and deductible is expected in advance of the procedure.

A patient Account Liaison (PAL) may call you prior to your surgery or procedure and review your financial responsibility. If you would like to speak to a PAL please contact them: (901) 516-1555.

Please be aware that this facility fee DOES NOT include fees for your surgeon, consulting physician, pathology/lab or anesthesiologist. Hamilton Eye Institute Surgery Center contracts with Memphis Anesthesia Group (MAG) anesthesiologists.

If you are unsure if your insurance is in-network with the surgery center or anesthesia group, contact your insurance provider to determine what type of coverage, if any, is available for your procedure. Please note that although we participate with many insurance companies/networks, procedures may not be covered under all plans or products they offer.

Some procedures require full payment in advance of the procedure. This is usually discussed with your surgeon at the time of scheduling.
